Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 1, 2025

Applies to: Everyone using Printler’s U.S. website and services—visitors, customers (buyers), and artists/sellers.

Who we are

Personal information we collect

  • Identifiers and contact details: name, email, phone, billing and shipping addresses.
  • Account and transaction data: account credentials, purchase history, shipping and returns.
  • Payment data: payment method token and last four digits via our payment processor (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Device and usage data: IP address, device identifiers, general location derived from IP, browser and device info, pages viewed, referrers, interactions.
  • User content: reviews, ratings, questions/answers, artwork listings and related metadata.
  • Artist/Seller onboarding: payout and tax information and documentation (for example, forms and IDs). We collect sensitive personal information limited to account log-in credentials, and—for artists/sellers—we may collect taxpayer identification or government ID solely to verify identity and comply with tax and legal obligations. We do not use sensitive personal information for additional purposes that would require a separate “limit use” control.

Sources

Directly from you; automatically from your device; from service providers (payments, fulfillment, analytics, support); and from affiliates supporting operations.

How we use personal information

  • Provide the site and services, process orders, ship goods, handle returns and support
  • Operate artist/seller accounts, display profiles and works, route payouts and tax documents
  • Secure the site, prevent fraud/abuse, debug, and measure performance
  • Measure effectiveness of site content and—only if you consent—advertising and attribution
  • Meet legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations

Cookies, tracking, and advertising — consent-first

We use:

  • Strictly necessary cookies for core functions (for example, cart and checkout)
  • Analytics/performance cookies to understand and improve the site
  • Advertising/attribution cookies to measure/deliver ads and track referrals (for example, artist links)

How it works:

  • We do not set analytics or advertising/attribution cookies or run sale/sharing/targeted-advertising processing unless you consent in our on-site privacy settings.
  • You can withdraw consent at any time using the on-site privacy settings in the footer.

Disclosures of personal information

We disclose personal information to service providers and processors (payments, hosting, analytics, support), fulfillment and logistics partners, marketing and measurement providers (only after you consent), professional advisers, affiliates that support operations, and authorities where required by law. We do not sell personal information for money. If, after you consent, our use of analytics or ads is deemed a “sale,” “sharing,” or “targeted advertising” under state law, you may withdraw consent at any time using the on-site privacy settings. All such recipients are bound by contracts that limit their use of personal information and require appropriate confidentiality and security.

Your choices and state rights

  • Consent and withdrawal: Control analytics and advertising/attribution through the on-site privacy settings; withdraw consent at any time and opt out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising.
  • State privacy rights: Depending on your state, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of personal information, and to opt out of sale/sharing/targeted advertising. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We will respond to appeals within 45 days unless an extension is permitted by law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
  • How to exercise: Email notices@printler.com. You may designate an authorized agent; we may require proof of authorization and additional verification. We will verify your identity before fulfilling a request. You may also lodge a complaint with consumer regulators such as the Federal Trade Commission or your state privacy regulator.

Financial incentives

From time to time we may offer discounts or other benefits in exchange for your contact details (for example, a 25% discount for newsletter sign-up). Participation is voluntary, and you may withdraw at any time (for example, by unsubscribing). The value of your data to us relates to the offered incentive and the marketing insights we derive from email engagement. The terms of each offer are presented at sign-up.

Data retention

  • Orders and tax records: generally five (5) years.
  • Customer accounts: generally five (5) years from last login or until you ask us to delete the account.
  • Marketing audiences and email history: generally up to two (2) years from your last purchase unless you object or withdraw consent sooner.
  • Reviews: retained until you remove them.
  • Other categories: kept only as long as needed for the purposes above or to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, then deleted or de-identified.

Children and teens

Printler is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We also do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, email notices@printler.com and we will delete it.

Nevada disclosure

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration under Nevada law. Nevada residents may submit a sale opt-out request by emailing notices@printler.com (subject line: “Nevada Opt-Out”).

Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and our business. If we discover a security incident involving personal information, we will investigate and fix it. Where required by law, we will notify affected individuals and, if applicable, regulators or consumer reporting agencies. We will use permissible notice methods (for example, email or on-site notice) and keep records of the incident and our response.

International transfers

U.S. customer data may be processed in the United States and may be accessed from other countries (for example, Sweden) by affiliates and service providers under appropriate contractual and technical safeguards.

Changes

We may update this notice; the updated version will display a new effective date.

California Notice at Collection

We collect the categories described in this notice (identifiers; commercial information; internet or other electronic network activity; approximate geolocation; user content; and, for artists, payout and tax information). We use them for the purposes listed above and retain order and tax records for five (5) years, customer accounts for five (5) years from last login or until deletion, marketing audiences/email history for up to two (2) years, reviews until removed, and other categories only as long as needed for those purposes or as required by law. We also collect limited sensitive personal information (account log-in credentials and, for artists/sellers, taxpayer identification or government ID) and we do not use or disclose this information for purposes that would require a “Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information” control.

We do not sell or share personal information by default. If you consent to analytics or advertising/attribution technologies, those activities may be considered a sale or sharing under California law; you may withdraw consent at any time using the on-site privacy settings.

Artist/Seller addendum

In addition to the uses above, we process artist/seller information to: create and manage your account and storefront; display your profile and works; route payouts and tax documentation; prevent abuse/fraud; and comply with legal obligations. We disclose artist data to payment/tax processors, fulfillment and marketplace support providers, and affiliates as needed to operate the service. You have the same rights and choices described above.
